Week 11: Translating Studio Work

Giving the studio’s work equal importance as client work is not a piece of cake, and Week 11 made that very clear. Can't reveal much, since it is not live, but photos give a hint. I started translating some of the brand projects we’ve been building into content for the studio’s page. It sounds simple, but it’s really about picking the right moments from a full project - what to show, what to hold back, and how to make it feel interesting in a quick scroll format. Not everything from a brand deck belongs on Instagram, so it became a process of editing and reframing rather than creating from scratch. I also made a teaser for one of the projects, which was a fun shift in thinking. Instead of explaining the brand, it was more about hinting at it, building a certain mood without revealing too much. Playing with pacing, visuals, and how each frame flows into the next made it feel more like storytelling than just design. Timing was a big problem but when you see the final result, every minute spent working on it, feels worth our energy.
