Week 3-It's about the small wins

This week, I worked on content for multiple brands by understanding their tone, adapting my design thinking, and creating pieces that felt aligned yet distinct. One of the highlights was a reel inspired by the artist Haojing. It was experimental, a little different from what I usually create, and with the help and feedback of my team, which made the process smoother and the outcome stronger, everyone really liked it. Seeing an idea translate well and get appreciated was definitely a confidence boost. But this week also came with its share of reality checks. There were discrepancies. Some concepts didn’t get approved. One entire day’s work had to be scrapped because it didn’t align with the client’s direction. It was frustrating at first, putting in hours of effort only to start over, but I’m slowly understanding that this is part of the process. Creative work isn’t just about what looks good; it’s about what fits. What I’m most proud of, though, are the small wins. Figuring out tiny shortcuts. Organizing files better. Planning before jumping into execution. Noticing patterns in feedback. These little improvements are quietly making my work faster and sharper, and that feels incredibly rewarding. Three weeks in, and I can feel myself settling into the rhythm. Still learning, still adapting, but definitely growing. And honestly, that’s the best part.
