Week 4-A month to internship

It’s officially been a month since I started my internship, and somewhere between deadlines, drafts, and countless reel edits, I’ve grown more than I expected. We use Slack to communicate and I can proudly say that I'm a huddler now(iykyk). Over the past month, I’ve worked on content across brands, from discussions, editing to shaping ideas that fit distinct brand personalities. Some days felt incredibly rewarding, especially when ideas clicked and the team appreciated the execution. Other days were humbling when work didn’t get approved, or when iterations felt endless. But those moments taught me the most: creativity isn’t just expression, it’s alignment. One thing I’ve become more aware of is how design doesn’t switch off once work ends. Wherever I go now, I notice fonts, layouts, styling, tone of voice, from billboards to packaging to Instagram captions. I find myself observing and trying to be objective about what works and why. It’s like my lens has shifted. I’ve also truly valued the team dynamic. Collaboration makes challenging tasks lighter and good ideas better. They gave us an exercise about branding which included research, answering tough questions and making questionnaire for clients to answer, it was interesting and an experience with a real brand. Just one thing I'm still not sure about is that working with a team from home is good or bad? Nonetheless, a month in, I feel more settled, more observant, and more excited. There’s still so much to learn — but that’s the best part. Here’s to growing, refining, and creating better with every brief.
