Week 5-Finding My Rhythm

Five weeks into my internship, I can finally say I’ve settled into a rhythm. The initial hesitation of being new has slowly faded, and I find myself more comfortable putting my ideas forward and participating in conversations. It feels good to not just execute tasks, but also contribute thoughts and perspectives. That said, one thing I do miss is the hustle of travelling to the office. The commute, the small conversations in between work, and getting to know colleagues beyond just tasks and deadlines. Working remotely is efficient, but sometimes you miss the little moments that make a workplace feel alive. To make up for that, I’ve started creating my own version of an office environment. I often play music in the background while working, it keeps my creative juices flowing and, in a way, makes it feel like I’m working with people rather than just working alone. It adds a certain rhythm to the day. On the work front, we’ve been experimenting with using AI for different tasks. While it’s exciting to explore new tools, AI being AI doesn’t always give the results you expect. If anything, it has taught me that the quality of the outcome depends a lot on how well you prompt it. It’s made me realize that prompting itself is a skill, one that I’m slowly learning and improving at. Overall, things are going well so far. I’m getting more comfortable with the process, learning new ways of working, and continuing to adapt with each passing week.
